February 2021 Virtual Book Fair

The WBRA will be hosting our February 2021 Book Fair online from February 22 to 26! Join us for a week of presentations from all your favourite reps, who will get you up to date on what books to expect for Spring 2021. Please register at the Eventbrite link here.

We’ll be providing all the Zoom, catalogue, and recording links on the event page you will have access to after registration, rather than sending out multiple rounds of emails, so please register as either an Attendee or a Presenter.

Please scroll down for the complete schedule.

We have a few new additions this season, with an appearance from Doug Minett of the newly formed CIBA, a scavenger hunt organized by Read Local BC and a new rep from CrossCan Educational Services.

Doug Minett will be giving an informal presentation at the start of our Happy Hour, at 4pm on Monday, February 22. Join in to hear the latest on what the Canadian Independent Booksellers Association has been up to.

Read Local BC invites all attendees at the WRBA February 2021 Book Fair to dig in and explore readlocalbc.ca by taking part in a scavenger hunt! One lucky winner will take home a local goodies gift basket valued at $100. The contest will open on the morning of February 22, when the entry form will be released.

Lisa Maisonneuve will be representing CrossCan, a sales agency that provides schools, libraries and bookstores with high-quality and diverse product lines that include PK-12 nonfiction and fiction library editions, paperbacks, and digital resources from educational and children’s publishers from around the world. They also sell French Language titles from Bouton D’or Acadie and Éditions Michel Quintin.

The Zoom links for the event will be provided on the Eventbrite page, so please register if you plan to attend live, would like to be given access to the recordings, or to hear further details about the February Book Fair.
